Obituary for Kathleen Avis Greeno (Rushford)

St. Albans – Kathleen Rushford Greeno, 82, died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at The Villa with loving family by her side. Born on March 24, 1935 the daughter of Kenneth (Joe) and Ethel (Dunham) Rushford. On November 23, 1956 she married Andrew Greeno who survives her.

She leaves her children and their spouses; Pam and (Larry) Young, Julie and (Greg) Marlow, Cindy and (Doug) Nye, Dana and (Leann) Greeno, 12 grandchildren and several great- grandchildren who she cherished dearly. Also surviving is her sister, Ula Robtoy, brothers, Ronald and Dennis Rushford.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Chet and Bill Rushford, sisters, Ginny Robtoy and Susie O’Brien, a sister-in-law, Carolee Rushford and two grand son-in-laws Chris DeGiovine and Jeremy Williams.

Kathy was a very talented seamstress for 29 years. She loved sewing clothes for her children, working in her flower garden, crocheting, word search, Danielle Steele novels and attending Parkinson’s support group. Kathy’s family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at The Villa for their professional and loving care. She made many friends while there, residents and staff.
