Obituary for Sonny James Parrotte

Sonny James Parrotte, Sr. left us unexpectedly at the age of 48 on April 12th, 2017. He loved the outdoors, snowmobiles, hunting, four wheeling, and most of all, cooking and barbequing. Jimmy, as everyone knew him, grew up in the town of Roxbury and attended Roxbury Elementary School. He graduated from Northfield High School. He leaves behind his two sons, Sonny James and Ben and their mother, Pamela, all of whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind his father, Henry (Sonny) and his mother, Linda; his brothers and sister, Howard, Shawn, Eric, and Layla; his Uncle Bob and Aunt Linda. Jimmy spent a lot of time with his grandparents, Loretta and Howard (deceased).
His grandparents, Hank and Rita, also predeceased him. Jimmy was well liked in the community and had many friends throughout the New England area that will miss him.

A website (awrichfuneralhomes.com) from Direct Cremation Services, Essex Junction, Vermont has an obituary section for online condolences and pictures.

A celebration of his life will take place at the Roxbury Fire Station, on Saturday, June 3rd, between the hours of 1 PM and 4 PM. A chicken barbeque in his honor will take place from 2 – 3 PM.

Donations may be made to the non-profit organization, Turning Point of Central Vermont, PO Box 887, Barre, VT 05641 or feel free to make a contribution to a charity of your choice on Jimmy’s behalf.
